I definitely recommend seeing the movie in 3-D if you can, the difference is just so amazing. The main story followed the anime pretty well with a few minor differences, while it would be nice to have everything the same as the anime let’s face the facts it can’t be done in the time allowed. I found that Aang was a little on the serious side and his avatar state was laughable, bejeweled anyone? But over all I did like his acting. And I did miss Katara’s “hair loops”. I did think that while many of the hair styles could have been better, the actors picked to play did a good job of portraying there characters. Out of all of the movies in my collection, Tokyo Zombie is probably in my top 3. I was really lucky to find it at a buy-sell-trade store I visited often. While shuffling through a movie bargain bin, the front cover caught my eye. Read the rest of this entry →
